About The Store
The Store Group was established in year 1968. It is also recognized as the largest and oldest existing supermarket and departmental chain by The Malaysia Book of Records since year 2001, with 75 operating outlets spanning approximately 1 million square metres of retail space across Malaysia. The range of products offered comprises fresh produce, fresh food, groceries, various types of food and beverage, electrical appliances, apparels, footwear, bags, household items, baby and children’s products, cosmetics and etc. In a span of 47 years, The Store Group has grown in stature and has become the leading retailer in the country.
The first outlet, The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store was opened at Bukit Mertajam, Penang in year 1968. As of year 1994, The Store Group has been listed on Bursa Malaysia. On 27 September 1995, Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store was established and later Milimewa Superstore joined the Group in May 2005.
The Store Group at present has 75 outlets across Malaysia, with 49 The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store, 9 Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store in Peninsular Malaysia, and 17 Milimewa Superstores in Sabah, East Malaysia.

The Store at present has 49 outlets across major cities in Malaysia, providing goods and services to shoppers of all income levels. The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store is divided into two departments: supermarket and departmental store. Supermarket offers a variety of products comprising fresh produce, dairy, groceries, various fresh food and beverages, and other daily necessities; while departmental store carries a wide selection of fashion & apparel, electrical appliances, and household items to consumers of all ages. The Store Supermarket & Departmental Store is conceptualized with the aim of offering more value for shopping in no-frills environment, by providing good quality products at low prices and ensuring comprehensive services to shoppers.
